On November 9, 2025, the MEloDIZER project showcased at Focus Live 2025, the annual science and innovation event organised by Focus, one of Italy’s leading popular science magazines. The event took place in Milan, bringing together researchers, innovators, and the public to explore how technology is shaping the future of sustainability.
MEloDIZER participated with Politecnico di Torino with a dedicated stand, where the Demo #4 prototype was presented — a tangible example of the project’s advancements in membrane distillation (MD) technologies for sustainable water treatment, reuse, and desalination.
The demo illustrated how MEloDIZER’s innovative system integrates energy efficiency, renewable energy sources, and circular approaches to minimize water waste and promote responsible resource management.
The event represented a great opportunity to engage directly with citizens, raise awareness about the importance of sustainable water use, and showcase how European research can turn science into real-world solutions.
