On 21 November 2025, AquaBioTech Group had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation of participants and students from the International Ocean Institute (IOI)—a renowned non-governmental educational institute dedicated to ocean governance, sustainability, and capacity building.

During the visit, AquaBioTech presented several of its ongoing research initiatives, including MEloDIZER, highlighting the project’s innovative approach to sustainable water treatment through advanced Membrane Distillation (MD) technologies. Visitors showed strong interest in MEloDIZER’s potential applications in the aquaculture sector, particularly in relation to water reuse and environmentally responsible operations.
